The Full Moon Wahoo Series, hosted by the West Palm Beach Fishing Club, is a three-leg summer tournament built around the peak wahoo bite during each full moon. Designed to be simple, competitive, and accessible, this series gives anglers three chances to get on the water, weigh a fish, and stack up points toward an overall title.
Fishing takes place across three designated Saturdays during the late summer full moons, with teams competing for both daily payouts and an overall series championship. The weigh station is headquartered at Sailfish Marina, making it a central hub for all tournament action.

Teams may fish one, two, or all three dates, with the option to compete for individual event winnings or the full series title.
Awards & Payouts
$10,000 Cash Prize for the heaviest wahoo of the series (50 lb minimum)
Overall Series Champion: $1,000 + custom WPBFC gaff
Daily Payouts: Cash awards to the top three boats each fishing day
Additional prizes awarded monthly from supporting sponsors
Entry Details
Entry Fee: $60 per team, per event (early entry), $150 for the full series (early entry)
Late entry rates apply after the deadline
Must be a WPBFC member to register a team
Non-members may participate as part of a team
