Take the Helm with Confidence
Join HMY Yachts for She’s the Captain, a hands-on boating experience created to help women build confidence and practical skills behind the helm.
Hosted aboard two MJM yachts and led by experienced female captains, this interactive experience combines instruction with real-world time on the water. Whether you’re new to boating or looking to sharpen your skills, you’ll have the opportunity to practice essential techniques in a supportive, welcoming environment.
Participants will learn and practice:
Docking and close-quarters maneuvering
Boat handling fundamentals
Navigation and safety basics
On-the-water decision-making
Building confidence at the helm
With most of the experience taking place on the water, participants will receive personalized instruction and plenty of hands-on time behind the wheel.

Choose Your Session
Attendance is limited to 8 participants per session to provide a comfortable, personalized learning experience.
Morning Session | 10:00 AM–2:00 PM
Afternoon Session | 2:30 PM–6:30 PM
Each session includes a brief classroom introduction followed by hands-on instruction on the water. Guests will also enjoy light refreshments aboard and receive a special She’s the Captain gift.
