Take the helm with confidence at She's the Captain, a hands-on boating experience designed to empower women through practical instruction and real-world time on the water.
Hosted by HMY Yachts aboard an MJM yacht, this interactive program is led by experienced female captains in a supportive, welcoming environment where participants can build skills, ask questions, and gain confidence behind the wheel.
Whether you're new to boating or looking to sharpen your abilities, you'll learn and practice essential skills every captain should know, including:
- Docking and close-quarters maneuvering
- Boat handling fundamentals
- Navigation and safety basics
- On-the-water decision making
- Building confidence at the helm
Unlike a traditional classroom setting, most of the experience takes place on the water, allowing participants to practice skills firsthand with personalized guidance from experienced instructors.
To ensure a comfortable learning environment, attendance is limited, and participants will be divided into small groups for individualized instruction. Guests will also enjoy light refreshments aboard and receive a special She's the Captain gift.

Each session includes a brief classroom introduction followed by extensive hands-on instruction on the water.
