Join HMY Yacht Sales as we kick off the 2025 Abaco Bahamas Boating Fling, an exciting 10-day group adventure from Fort Lauderdale to the beautiful Abaco islands. HMY will be on-site at Bahia Mar Marina to help you prepare for departure and will be island-hopping alongside you throughout the event.
Pre-Departure Activities at Bahia Mar
Tuesday, July 8
Captain’s Meeting 6:30 pm
Gather in the Captain’s Lounge at Bahia Mar to go over final logistics and receive important information about the upcoming crossing.
G Dock Party
Following the meeting, join us on G Dock for a dockside celebration with fellow participants and the HMY team.
Dockside Support
An HMY/YMS mechanic will be available on the dock that evening for last-minute assistance.
Meet the HMY Team
Our HMY sales professionals will be on the dock to assist with questions and make sure you’re ready for the voyage ahead.

Morning of Departure
Wednesday, July 9
Morning Send-Off (5:30 AM)
Start your day with coffee and a Danish at G Dock before departure.
Ice Truck Distribution (5:30–6:00 AM)
With all 22 boats lined up, our HMY sales team will be on hand to distribute ice from the G Dock ice truck.
Final Tech Support
An HMY/YMS mechanic will be available on-site for any last-minute needs before setting off.
HMY on the Water
HMY will be cruising right alongside you with our Nimbus W11 (pictured below), which will be on scene, island-hopping throughout the entire event. Come aboard and say hello during the trip!
