Get ready for the 63rd Annual Buccaneer Cup, a premier sailfish tournament rooted in tradition and committed to conservation. From its origin in 1963, the Buccaneer Cup has championed catch-and-release sailfishing and remains one of the most respected tournaments along Florida’s Atlantic coast. It’s not just a competition — it’s a living tribute to sportfishing heritage where angling legends have competed through the decades.
Tuesday, January 20 - Captain’s Meeting at The Buccaneer Resort & Marina (Palm Beach Shores) from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Registration, Calcutta, sponsor booths, food trucks, and a family-friendly kickoff.
Wednesday, January 21 - Admin day — no fishing. Registration remains open until noon for last-minute teams.
Thursday, January 22 - First fishing day. Lines in at 8:00 AM, lines out at 3:30 PM. Meat fish weighed at The Buccaneer Marina. All sailfish releases must be recorded and uploaded via the Buc Cup app.
Friday, January 23 - Second fishing day. Same schedule: lines in at 8:00 AM, lines out at 3:30 PM. Meat fish weigh-in at The Buccaneer Marina. Release videos uploaded through the Buc Cup app.
Saturday, January 24 - Final optional fishing day. Lines in at 8:00 AM, lines out at 3:30 PM. Meat fish weigh-in at The Buccaneer Marina. Release videos must be submitted by 7:00 PM (or immediately for winning teams). That evening, the Awards Celebration Dinner will take place at Jupiter Beach Resort & Spa, beginning at 6:30 PM. Cocktail attire required — no T-shirts or shorts.
