2023 HMY Lowcountry Cup Fishing Tournament

HMY Yacht Sales is proud to announce the first-ever annual Lowcountry Cup Billfish Tournament this May! The HMY Lowcountry Cup will call Charleston, South Carolina home. These coastal waterways host a rich history of fishing along South Carolina’s coast and the Lowcountry is an important source of biodiversity in the Carolinas. This billfish tournament will be release only in 2023 and a qualifying event for the South Carolina Governor’s Cup Billfishing Series in 2024.

This is a “BEST OUT OF TWO DAYS” Event. Boats are permitted to fish both days of this event. (Tournament weather regulations still apply) When turning in the day two affidavits and photographs/videos you must formally indicate which ONE of the boats eligible fish days are to be WITHDRAWN from the tournament. (You have until 7:00 PM to do so)

Thursday, May 19

Tournament & TWT Registration onsite at Mainland Container 4 – 7:00 pm
Bar & Live Music: by Lauren Hall Band 6:00 pm –9:00 pm
Captains Meeting at Mainland Container 7:00 pm
Dinner follows immediately after the Captain’s Meeting at 7:30 pm
TWT Final Registration closes at 9:00 pm

Friday, May 20

Day 1 fishing 8:00 am – 3:00 pm
Weigh in at Toler’s Cove Marina 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm

Saturday, May 21

Day 2 fishing 8:00 am – 3:00 pm
Weigh in at Toler’s Cove Marina 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm
Bar and Live Music: by Secret Ingredients at Mainland 6:00 pm – 9:30 pm Container
Dinner at Mainland Container at 7:00 pm
Awards Presentation 8:00 pm
