Axopar Boats' company page describes the brand as founded in 2014 in Helsinki, Finland, by Jan-Erik Viitala and Sakari Mattila, who drew on experience at Scandinavian boat brands including XO and Paragon. Hulls are designed in Finland and manufactured in Poland; the debut Axopar 28 launched in 2014 and the range has expanded from roughly 22 to 45 feet, built around twin-stepped planing hulls and modular deck configurations — Spyder, Cabin, Cross Cabin (XC), and Cross Top (CCX) — that suit day boating, overnight passages, or adventure-style open-water use.
