All Ocean Yachts is a Fort Lauderdale, Florida-based firm built around the Explorer Yacht program developed by company president John DeCaro. The first Explorer Yacht in the line, the 79-foot Beleza, was delivered in 1999, and the range has since grown to span roughly 79 to 132 feet. These are purpose-built long-range expedition yachts intended for world-cruising and passage-making in remote areas — a brief that separates them from coastal or near-offshore motor yacht designs and sets the priorities a buyer should evaluate accordingly.

All Ocean's Explorer Yachts are designed in collaboration with Miami-based yacht designer Luiz de Basto and constructed by Inace (Industria Naval do Ceará) in Fortaleza, Brazil. Inace was founded in 1968 and is a recognized pioneer in aluminium yacht construction; the Explorer Yacht hulls are built in steel and aluminium, suited to the heavy-weather and extended-range passages these yachts are designed to handle.
