Viking Yachts CEO Pat Healey Discusses The New 93 Motor Yacht

This is Chris Landry. Today I'm here with the boss, President and CEO of Viking, Pat Healey, and we are aboard the 93 Motor Yacht. We're going to talk about this brand new boat from Viking. It's an incredible boat. It's an incredible boat watching this develop over these last two and a half years. It's been unbelievable. You have a salon on the enclosed flybridge level. You have a salon on the main deck level. You have an F-deck on the main entrance level, and then you also have another F-deck on the bridge level. So you have basically, it's a tri-deck motor yacht. You're living, you're down below living space, which is five staterooms, which again at 93 feet is big. Nobody has a five stateroom boat, and we do. The bow has a wonderful area of seating, lounge. It has a sun lounge. It has a seating area, and it's a great spot. It's just a great spot. It's a mini mega yacht. You'll find owners that will be looking at boats in the 115 to 120 foot neighborhood buy this boat because they can get a brand new boat built here in New Gretna, New Jersey and have all this volume and have it at 93 feet. Reflecting on all of the different predictions that we all thought the boat would do and how well it would do in its speed curves, and it was interesting that it was spot on. The team did a great job. They did a great job in their predictions, and they did a great job in getting exactly what they predicted and what they were looking at with a 23.5 knot cruise and a 27 plus top end, and we achieved both with the boat full of fuel. It's wonderful to see after two and a half years of the planning stage, you build the boat, and it comes out and it does exactly what you want it to do.
