From the sweeping cliffs of Newport to the cobblestone streets of Nantucket, New England offers a charter experience distinctly infused with history and understated splendor. With Captain Sean’s insider knowledge, “Tail Lights” will bring this coastline to life in ways that extend far beyond the expected.
While iconic destinations such as Martha’s Vineyard and New York Harbor are sure to dazzle, Sean is equally eager to reveal lesser-known jewels: secluded anchorages, hidden coves, and quiet inlets that few outside the region have experienced. Block Island is a personal favorite, but he’s keeping other hideaways under wraps for future visitors.

Hey guys, Captain Sean here on Taillights. Got super exciting news. We've made the official announcement that we'll be doing New England summer 2026 from mid-June to mid-September. I absolutely adore doing charters down in the Caribbean, but there's something about being up in New England in the summer. It's home. The owner and myself are from Long Island. It's what got me into yachting in the first place. Quaint, historic, small little towns, the shopping, the sights, even the fog. The food scene, in my opinion, is unmatched. Fancy restaurants in Newport to beachside restaurants in Nantucket, little clam shacks on the beach, lobster up in Bar Harbor, Maine. It's quintessential New England yachting, and it's definitely a very special, tailored-to-charter experience. An ideal charter would be start in Newport, hit Block Island, Martha's Vineyard, Nantucket, maybe Montauk if they want to, go up the Cape Cod Canal, hit P-Town, and end in Boston. Super excited to deliver that special experience to our guests. If you guys are interested in chartering a yacht in New England and you think Taillights might be that yacht, reach out to us, reach out to your broker. We'd love to discuss it with you and get you on the calendar.
