2021 Viking 38 Billfish [Walkthrough]

How's it going? Forrest Robertson of HMY Yacht Sales. Today we're here in Riviera Beach at the Viking Service Facility preparing for the Viking VIP event. Today we'll be taking a look at the 2021 38 Viking Billfish. Jump on board and let's take a look. This is a great option for boaters who are looking to exit the center console market and enter into the sport fishing world. This boat highlights a lot of creature comforts and amenities that a lot of the larger sport fish boats have and under 40 feet. You'll be impressed to find a 109 square foot cockpit. You'll see the cockpit is outfitted with two large insulated full length fish boxes, a 60 gallon transom live well that also doubles as a fish box. You even have a transom door with a lift open gate to accommodate your larger meat fish as well. Another great feature that the 38 Billfish offers is the mezzanine seating. This is an option that you normally see on 60 foot plus sport fish boats. On the port side, you have a deep freezer for meat, bait, groceries, and on the starboard side, you'll see that you have a tackle prep station, tackle drawers, and a small wash down for your prep center. After reeling in your catch, take a seat on the mezzanine where you'll notice the extended overhead shade to keep you in the shade and keep your eyes on the lines during a long day of fishing. As we move forward into the command deck, you'll notice that we have two large bench seats. On the port side, you have a dinette and on the starboard side, you have a large bench seat forward. You have the lower helm station, which you can opt out to increase the entertaining and storage space as well. The command deck also houses the engine room with access underneath both bench seats and a centerline through hatch in the floor. You'll have ample engine room and sea keeper access for owner operator to easily maintain and service the boat on their own level. Moving forward to the lower helm station, you'll see you'll be able to navigate the boat while staying in a climate controlled and comfortable environment throughout the day. This boat has been outfitted with a Garmin electronics package from AME, which includes a Garmin display, joystick, steering wheel, and throttles, giving you the ability to do anything you can do from the bridge down below. Moving below deck, you'll immediately notice a proper galley on the starboard side. Another nice feature you normally don't find on boats this size. Here we find a refrigerator, freezer, two burner stove top, a stainless steel sink, a microwave oven, and plenty of storage. This boat has been outfitted with Juno teak, which you'll find throughout the interior. Moving forward to the stateroom, you'll find the island queen configuration, which can also be substituted for a crossover bunk. You'll also find two large hanging lockers with additional cabinetry for storage in the stateroom. This boat even includes a full size head with a walk-in shower stall. Another very attractive attribute for someone looking to move up from a center console into a sport fishing boat. Moving upstairs to the flybridge, you'll find a tournament style center console design, which allows you to walk around the helm and have an unobstructed 360 degree view. Here you'll see there's three Garmin screens that display all information about the boat at any given time. The flybridge offers great comfort, which includes a bench seat on both port and starboard sides and a front facing bench as well. Viking also offers a Foti helm pod option. This area is all protected by a three piece Costa enclosure, perfect for those long offshore runs. Finally, for the hardcore anglers, this boat has been outfitted with double spreader rub outriggers and a pair of US9 teaser reels overhead. That's a wrap on the 2021 Viking 38 Billfish.
