Hi, I'm Rob Spano with HMY Yacht Sales. Join me today as we do a walkthrough on this 2019 Viking 72 convertible. First thing you notice when you walk into any Viking yacht is the high level fit and finish and craftsmanship. They also put a lot of thought into the interior design of their boats. It's all about comfort. Immediately entering the 72 convertible, you have the J-shaped couch here on port side with storage underneath. On the starboard side, you have the day head, which is very convenient that you don't have to go down below while fishing. Also very accessible is the Octoplex, which is our touchscreen breaker system. This touchscreen is a control center for the entire boat. It houses breakers for your appliances, lighting, mechanical, engine accessories, everything you need all the way down to your fuel gauges. As you move forward, you have the cabinetry that houses the pop-up TV, liquor cabinet and storage below. Over here on the starboard side, we come up to the dinette table here that sits four comfortably, as well as these three additional bar stools located here at the elevated counter. There is a rod locker underneath the seating area here that you're able to store several rods and reels in. The 72 has a fantastic galley. All your appliances are close by with plenty of counter space. The galley has six under-counter sub-zero drawers, a cooktop, convection microwave, as well as an ice maker. Now we're going to take a look at the staterooms below. Immediately coming down this curved staircase is the crew stateroom. As we enter the crew cabin, you can see there are two large bunks, access into the engine room, their own TV screen, as well as their own private head. As we move forward through the companionway, we enter the large master stateroom to port. The master stateroom houses a king-size bed, his and hers hanging lockers, a large flat-screen high-definition TV, as well as a private ensuite head with a large shower. Now let's continue moving forward. Sensory located all the staterooms is this full-size washer and dryer. Up here on the port side is a guest stateroom, has over and under bunk beds, also with its own private ensuite head. This is a great place for the kids. Moving all the way forward is the VIP stateroom with this large queen berth, Bomar hatch providing plenty of natural light, flat-screen TV, and a large head with its own shower. Now let's go back and take a look at the engine room. One of my favorite places on the 72 convertible is this impressive engine room. Not only does it look great, but the layout and accessibility makes it easy to maintain. Here we'll find two 29 kilowatt Cummins Onan generators. Located on top of the generator shelves are these two Craftsman toolboxes. Back here on the aft bulkhead, we have our breaker panels as well as our battery chargers. This boat was built with the optional 16-cylinder MTU M96L series motors. These are rated at over 2600 horsepower a piece, which is going to allow this boat to cruise in the upper 30s with a top end speed of over 45 knots. Everything is very accessible. Right here we have a hatch that reveals the live bait well pump. This next hatch houses our oil transfer manifold system, which allows somebody to change the oil without having to leave the engine room. The next hatch reveals our central seawater pump and also backup pump, which provides all of our cooling water for the entire boat. As you can see, everything in the bilge is neatly labeled, which contributes to the ease of maintenance. One of the options that the crew will really appreciate on this 72 convertible is this Spot Zero water maker combination unit. This unit softens the water, allowing you to wash the boat with a spot-free finish. Another great feature that the crew will love is this Willie vac system. This allows you to clean all the bilge areas from this one central location. As you can see, the engineers at Viking have done a fabulous job with the design and layout of the engine room. Now let's go look at some of the nice features in the cockpit. The cockpit of the 72 was designed for serious sport fishing. The centerpiece of the cockpit is this beautiful fighting chair, which is located above these two center hatches, which houses your sea keeper gyro below. This large transom fish box also doubles as a live well. The Eskimo ice machine dumps its ice into this bin, which makes it easy to transfer the ice onto your fish located in the fish box below deck. Just forward of your two refrigerated boxes are your mezzanine seating area, as well as your cool air conditioning system, which blows air on the back of your neck. And over here is the controls for your stereo system. Now we're going to go up the ladder and take a look at the bridge. As you can see, the bridge on the 72 is tremendous. We have three helm chairs, three bent seating areas, one looking forward, a very large deep freezer located here all the way forward, as well as a wash down and storage below. The state of the art electronic package that's on this boat includes three glass monitor screens, two VHF units, stereo controller. Also located up here is another Octoplex screen. These three large monitors allow you to look at any of your systems on board. You can look at your plotter, your sounder, the radar, as well as Direct TV and even your onboard camera system. Located up here in the drop down box is your Garmin plotter, as well as your autopilot and several other screens. One of the aspects that the captains really liked is that when you're fishing and you're watching the baits behind the boat, you're able to look at your Garmin display here and see it marked on the sounder at the same time. You also have your teaser reels located here as well. Another example of Viking building their boats with the sport fishermen in mind. Thanks for joining us on the tour of the 72 Convertible today. If you'd like your own private tour, contact one of us at HMY Yacht Sales. We look forward to hearing from you.
