Hi, I'm Greg Hunt with HMY Yacht Sales. Today I'm standing aboard the Ditch Digger 2017 72 Viking convertible. She's a beautiful boat. Why don't you come on board and take a look around? The first thing you notice when you walk in is, wow, what a great space for entertaining. Immediately entering the salon, you'll notice there's a day head to starboard. This is such a convenient feature for when you're offshore fishing. Your guests and anglers don't have to go down below when they need to use the head. Just forward of the day head is the low voltage and AC ship service. Generator starts and stops are conveniently located here along with great bottle storage and a pop-up TV for entertaining after hours. To port is this large J-shaped ultra leather sofa that converts to storage. Have a look at this space. A lot of crews will use this for tackle. Plenty of room for all of your offshore gear and or provisions that you need on this boat. And it wraps all the way around. Right here is a high gloss teak table that raises so that you can use it as a dining table. Just across from the galley is this very comfortable settee. A great place to enjoy the catch of the day. Forward of that is a TV for enjoying the game. This massive drawer located below the settee can accommodate all your onboard fishing rods. 20s, 30s, 50s, 80s and even 130s will fit in here. Great use of the area where it is normally a wasted space. Check out this well-equipped galley. Look at all this counter space. You've got a raised bar top with three bar stools. Over here you have four sub-zero below counter refrigerators, two freezers, trash compactor, melee, flush mounted four burner cooktop and concealed right here is a convection microwave oven. Forward of the galley is a large walk-in pantry with plenty of space for provisions. One of the things I like most about this galley is that while you're back here preparing the meal, you're still in the middle of it all. You're enjoying laughs and swapping stories with your guests on board. Now let's go down below and take a look at the accommodations. Just a few steps down from the salon, you enter this companionway. As you walk forward, the first room you come to on the port is the master stateroom. Come on in and have a look. You've got his and hers chest of drawers on both port and starboard, hanging lockers long enough for the ladies' dresses. One of the things Viking is known for is utilizing all onboard space for storage. This is a great place to keep ship supplies, your bags after you've unpacked. The master stateroom is equipped with an ensuite head. These upgrades are beautiful. Cambria countertops, upgraded wallpaper and an oversized shower with a glass door. Right outside the master is your washer and dryer, centrally located and easily accessible to all cabins. Just forward of the washer and dryer is the linen closet with a central vac. Just a few steps over to port is the guest cabin. The guest cabin offers over-under berths, good sized berths, hanging locker, plenty of storage, Samsung flat panel TV and an ensuite head. Located in the forward bow section of the boat is the VIP stateroom. Very expansive, high ceilings, upgraded mattresses, again storage below, flat panel television, ensuite head. Your guests are going to be very impressed after spending a night in this well-appointed VIP cabin. The decorators did a great job making each cabin unique to itself. As you walk aft, you come to the crew's quarters to port. This cabin is well-equipped and really nice. Come on, take a look. As you enter the crew's quarters, the first thing you see is an Octoplex panel located right here. Nice thing about this is the crew can access any of the onboard systems from their cabin. Check out this expansive crew's quarters. Large oversized berths, plenty of storage, flat panel TV and again ensuite head. And another great feature is it has direct engine room access. And this leads us to my favorite part onboard a Viking, the engine room. This Viking is equipped with MTU 16V2000 M96L motors that deliver over 2600 horsepower apiece, delivering a cruise in the upper 30s with a top end approaching the middle 40s. And directly behind that, you have twin Onan 29 kW generators. Up against the aft bulkhead in the engine room, over the top of the generators is a nice workstation and storage area equipped with toolboxes on both the port and starboard side. Up forward port on this boat is a WillieVac. The WillieVac is basically a built-in shop vac right here located in the engine room. Another great feature of this boat is the SpotZero water maker. The SpotZero reduces the water parts down below 50 parts per million, eliminating the need for a chamois. The fit and finish, the paint work, everything's accessible for easy maintenance. Your crew is going to love this. Now we're going to go take a look at the flybridge. Not only is this the command center of the boat, but yet it offers a great area for your guests to hang out while fishing on board. This boat is equipped with flybridge, air conditioning, three helm chairs, port and starboard bench seats, and a very comfortable forward-facing wraparound bench seat. Just forward of that is a very large freezer for all your bait and or provisions. Right over here, forward and port, is a washdown sink. The helm offers state-of-the-art electronics for navigation and control of all onboard systems. Right here is a recessed electronics control. Three glass bridge monitors, both Garmin and Furuno, redundant systems for depth sounder, onboard cameras, plotter, radar, and so forth. Both port and starboard radio boxes are equipped with controls. You've got Dometic ice controls, another octoplex control here for onboard ship systems, ACR searchlight, you have the FLIR night vision camera, and the Garmin grid system. Over to starboard, you have your VHF radio, Furuno NavNet 3D controller, and another really cool feature about this boat is it is equipped with hydraulic outriggers. Just a push of this button and then they lay out to the fishing position. You've got the Palm Beach style teak pod, single lever controls, bow thruster buttons are right in the handles. So when you're maneuvering this boat, it's real easy to keep control when docking in the most windy conditions. Above you have a drop-down box with a Garmin plotter, sounder, sea keeper control, secondary VHF radios, and of course your autopilot. Directly above the captain's chair is your Maya Epoch US9 HD teaser reels. What's really nice about it is you can reach up when you get a marlin or something up on your teaser and you can pull it away as your angler switches it to a bait. Now let's go down to the cockpit where all the offshore action takes place. The centerpiece is the release fighting chair. It's a large marlin chair. It's got four rod holders in it, a tackle drawer, a couple of drink holders, and a bait station. This boat is equipped with a full teak package both on the cockpit sole and the mezzanine and step to the salon. This comfortable mezzanine couch is a great place for your guests to watch the fishing action while sitting below the cool breeze mezzanine air conditioning. Right here you have a very large refrigerated drink box on the mezzanine step. Your Eskimo ice machine dumps your ice into this area right here. And directly behind that is going to be your fish box, making it extremely convenient for you to dump your ice on your fish. Right center line is engine room access making it easy to get down below. And just to the port of that is a bait tray with stainless steel trays built by Viking. And just to the left of that you'll find a large drop freezer for your bait. Located on the port side of the cockpit under the sole is a live well. Directly behind that is another storage bin for fish, refrigerated. Right here on the transom there is a fish box that doubles as a live well. An extremely notable feature of this 72 Viking is its sea keeper. The powerful torque that's created by this internal massive spinning flywheel reduces the rate of roll by over 80% making it extremely comfortable and safe to be aboard in the roughest of sea conditions. Thanks for taking the time to tour this 2017 72 Viking convertible, the ditch digger. My name is Greg Hunt with HMY Yacht Sales.
