2015 Beneteau Monte Carlo 5S (Walkthrough)

When the Beneteau brand unites its expertise with the greatest Italian designers, it reinvents the motor cruiser concept. Although she boasts all the attributes of the premium range, the Monte Carlo 5S stands apart for her boldly sporty profile and a hardtop with an outdoor lounge. Good morning, my name is Eddie Montoya with HMY Yachts. Today we're here on a beautiful Friday in Miami Beach, Florida. We're aboard this sporty yet comfortable 50-foot motor yacht, Bohemia. This three-stateroom vessel has all the features you need to give you a fun weekend out with family and friends to your favorite destinations. Let's start this tour in the galley. What I love about the galley is that everything needed to prepare home-cooked meals is easily accessible, including plenty of pantry storage, stovetop, and combination microwave. Directly across from the galley are two large fridges and one freezer. Moving forward, past the main electrical panel, is a love seat positioned in front of an LED TV placed on a high-low lift. Portside is a U-shaped sofa with an adjustable dinette giving space for six guests to enjoy dinners comfortably. Our final stop on the main deck is here at the helm station. This is one of my favorite features as it's set up easily for any captain with everything you need within reach. The helm itself is equipped with two 12-inch Simrad display screens with an optional overhead camera view of the aft deck. Additional features at the helm include Volvo EVC screen, trim tab control, bow thruster, joystick, and main engine controls. The main engine controls are integrated with twin Volvo Penta IPS 600s that each give an output of 435 horsepower. Forward of the engines is a 13.5 kilowatt Cummins generator with only 160 hours. The VIP houses a queen berth, a private AC control, two closets, additional cabinets, and a 32-inch flat screen TV. Here in the day head is an electric toilet vacu-fush plus a 40-gallon holding tank and a separated shower stall with circular door. Similar features in the guest stateroom, only difference is that there are two bunk beds, two opening hole portholes to let in natural light, and a shared 22-inch TV with Fusion control. Wrapping up downstairs, we have the aft master stateroom. A combination of natural lighting through large portholes and additional inside lighting fill up the room. To port in the master stateroom, underneath the huge round porthole is a bench seat that will come in handy as it has underneath storage. Before we make our way upstairs to the aft deck, notice the storage underneath the staircase which can house a washer and dryer. Here at the aft deck is where I believe time is best spent. Guests can enjoy cocktails on the aft seating area with the option of sun or shade thanks to the retractable awning. At the transom, you're welcomed by a hydraulic swim platform that offers accommodations for water toys up to 12 feet. Also in the transom is a grill, sink, and a food prep area for entertainment when you're at anchor. Up on the sport bridge is where I think you'll find the best views on the vessel. Finally, at the bow where we'll be wrapping up our tour. Here you can sit back, relax, with your significant other as there are two fully functional sun pads, cup holders, and full sea zed.
