Here we are in the tournament rig cockpit of Blast Tango. The 42 foot Viking Sport Tower offers a wide beam, 15 foot 9 inches to be exact, which gives you tons of room for your fishing and cruising adventures. Your starboard side cockpit sole, you have your first of two in-deck fish boxes. This one features dual freezer plates. Across the transom, you have your live well. The centerpiece of the cockpit here is your Pompanet Mini Manta rocket launcher. To port, you have a lift gate and fish door. In-deck, you have your second of the two fish boxes to port. To starboard here on your mezzanine, you have your first of the two mezzanine seating areas. Underneath, you have deep freeze for bait, tackle storage, access to your climate controlled bridge deck, your second of two mezzanine seating areas, storage underneath. And this whole mezzanine area comes up on hydraulic rams to offer unprecedented engine room access. She's powered by twin 600 horsepower Cummins engines with Zeus pod drives. The most important thing to understand about the Sport Tower model is that it offers a factory upgraded hard three sided enclosure, which eliminates your isenglass curtains and offers unprecedented climate control. On the underside of the factory hardtop, Blast Tango has two custom installed electric teaser reels. And the hardtop features optional longitudinal tackle storage compartments. The helm deck layout features port and starboard side bench seating with storage underneath, triple release marine captain's chairs. The layout is both spacious and social. Another nice helm deck feature is the port side refrigerated drink box. The raised center line helm of Boondoggle features twin Garmin touchscreen multifunction displays and offers excellent visibility underway. Two of the great features that are part of the Cummins engine and Zeus pod propulsion package are your joystick control system and your skyhook dynamic positioning system. Down below to starboard, we have a fully functioning shipboard galley. Just forward of the galley to starboard is your full head. The master stateroom forward features an island queen berth, a hanging locker to port, high gloss teak wood storage cabinets, natural light and a flat screen TV with upgraded audio visual components. One of the features that make the 42 Viking interior layout so special is her full beam second stateroom that features twin berths. Most 40 foot express boats, if they even offer a second stateroom, will feature bunk beds. Blast Tango features a custom extended bow rail all the way to the cockpit, which makes for your transition forward easy and safe.
