Hello, I'm Mike Scalisi with HMY Yachts, and today I'd like to welcome you aboard the 2010 83 Ferretti MiRX. Join me for an onboard tour. So boarding MiRX by the stern, you have a beautiful high-gloss teak table and chair as your central entertaining area on the AFT deck. There are crew quarters and engine room access to port and a stairwell leading up to the flybridge to starboard. Entering the main salon of MiRX, you immediately are taken by the big windows that let in lots of natural light. It has a nice open, airy feel with the light wood. There's a seating area to port, audio-visual components and storage to starboard, and just forward, there's a formal dining table. There's also interior access via a stairwell up to the flybridge. As we continue forward, your galley is to port. It's a service-oriented galley with ample storage, granite countertops, custom commercial icemaker, and stand-up refrigerator freezer. To starboard, you have a pantographic door that will lead you out to the full walk-around side decks. Just forward of that is your main stairwell to your lower accommodations. Continuing forward, there's a day head starboard side forward and your lower weather-protected pilot house. At the base of the stairwell, you enter a carpeted foyer. Aft of the foyer is the magnificent full-beam master stateroom. The master stateroom island king berth is athwartships so that it faces a giant hullside window at water level and also has underwater lights underneath it. So picture being anchored up in the Bahamas in the crystal clear water looking out that window at night with fish swimming by your master stateroom window. There's also a corresponding window on the starboard side in the master head, which has a pass-through from the stateroom into the head. Continuing forward down below in the lower accommodations, to starboard, we have a full-size berth with a private head. To port, we have split twin berths with a private head. And all the way forward in Mirax is our VIP stateroom with an island queen berth and another private head. The flybridge of Mirax is accessible from the starboard side of the aft deck or an interior stairwell. All the way astern on the flybridge, you have an athwartships davit for launch and retrieval of a dinghy. There is a little seating area to port. To starboard, you have a wet bar, refrigerator, freezer setup, and commercial icemaker. To port forward, there's a beautiful U-shaped seating area with high-gloss teak table. There is a retractable sunroof over the hardtop here on Mirax. And there's an Eisenglass enclosure with a custom air conditioning unit up here. So if you did drop an Eisenglass curtain, you could climate control the flybridge. Your port forward steering station has all the navigation equipment you would need for safe passage. The full walk-around side decks of Mirax make line handling and fender placement a breeze. They will also lead you all the way forward to the bow sun pad area that has an optional bimini top. Mirax is powered by a pair of 2000 series, 2000 horse MTU engines, which will comfortably cruise her in excess of 20 knots. A couple other engine room highlights aboard Mirax would be her twin generators, each one custom upgraded so that it would be capable of running all shipboard systems independently.
