Hello, I'm Mike Scalisi with HMY Yachts and welcome aboard Islander. She's a 2006 36 Miller Marine. Her custom lines will turn heads in any harbor and she fishes just as good as she looks. Here in the cockpit of Islander, you have a transom fish box and a transom fish door. The centerpiece of the cockpit is the custom rocket launcher. On the starboard side, you have a raised drink box and on the port side, you have a live well. Also notice the beautiful custom teak decks here in the cockpit. In addition to her teak decks, she also has quite a bit of well-placed teak trim with high gloss varnish. In the sole of the helm deck, you have engine room access. Down in the engine room, we find a pair of 3126 Caterpillars. They're 450 horsepower each and push Islander along for a nice comfortable 28 knot cruise. Just a few steps up will bring us to the helm deck, which is also teak. To starboard, you have a bench seat with tackle storage beneath. Standing here at the helm of Islander, you have good visibility. You have a teak Palm Beach style helm pod with single lever electronic controls. You have both analog and digital gauges for redundancy. Your navigation equipment consists of a Furuno NavNet VX2 chart plotter and radar, next to which you have a Furuno NavNet fish finder. There's an updated Simrad autopilot and a standard horizon VHF radio. Heading down below on Islander, immediately to starboard, you have your head. To port, you have a molded in seating area. Across to starboard, you have a small galley with a refrigerator and microwave with some under counter storage. And then your berth is all the way forward and slightly off center. Perfect for a family weekend in the Bahamas or overnight fishing trip. Cabin has both air conditioning and reverse cycle heat, so it's good for those hot summer days and those cold winter nights. Maneuverability is key when chasing billfish and Islander can back down with the best of them. She's a custom built sport fishing machine. Islander has a full custom tower with steering controls and navigation equipment as a second station. It's a great vantage point for navigation and also for quarterbacking your cockpit fishing activity. I'm Mike Scalisi with HMY Yachts. Thank you for joining me today aboard Islander. And if you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to contact me. I appreciate the opportunity to earn your trust and business.
