1999 Viking 55' Convertible - Running Over - For Sale with HMY Yachts

Hello, I'm Mike Scalisi with HMY Yachts and today I'd like to welcome you aboard the 1999 55 Viking Convertible Running Over. We're on the hook here in a nice protected anchorage. Some of the nice cruising features on board Running Over include the 12-foot Caribe rigid bottom inflatable powered by a 50-horsepower Yamaha four-stroke. We have a davit for easy launch and retrieval of your dinghy. Up here we have your pulpit, anchor, and windlass system, and a bow rail for an added element of safety while operating up here. The cockpit of Running Over is rigged for the best of both worlds, both hardcore tournament sport fishing and family cruising. The centerpiece of the cockpit features a blue water marine custom fighting chair, which can be swapped out for a large table. In deck you have an athwartship fish box and an in-deck live well. The transom has a lift gate and tuna door, which also doubles as a swim door. Against the forward bulkhead you have your ladder up to the flybridge, a deep freezer, a sink and bait prep center with tackle storage beneath, and then centerline engine room access. Her unique cockpit sunshade has a large aft section that folds up to give the captain the ability to see and quarterback all fishing action. The engine room on board Running Over has only 2,600 original hours on the optional 12V183 MTU engine package. Those engines are 1,150 horsepower a piece. She offers the redundancy and safety of two generators. The 21KW Onan unit was replaced brand new and has only 1,800 hours. The flybridge on the 55 Viking Convertible is well known for being best in class. She offers a longitudinal bench seat to port and an L-shaped seating area forward of the helm. In 2018 she had a new Sea acrylic enclosure. Running Over has been upgraded and custom outfitted with a full array of new electronics. She features twin Garmin 7616 multifunction displays that offer chartplotter, radar, and sonar capabilities. Autopilot, Garmin VHF radio, spotlight controls. She also has a bow thruster and a Palm Beach style pod helm with single lever electronic controls. Here we are in the main salon of Running Over. Her interior has had a full refit under her current owner. So you have freshly covered couches, new carpet, new carpet runners, nice dinette, and updated audio-visual components. The galley of Running Over has everything a shipboard gourmet could require. You have a three burner electric cooktop, extra deep stainless steel sink, microwave oven, excellent storage, undercounter refrigerator freezer space, teak and holly sole, stone countertops. Just a few steps down from the main level will bring us to our lower accommodations. Immediately to your right here you have over and under washer dryer. Following the companionway forward, immediately to port is our master stateroom, which features an island queen berth, excellent closet storage, and an en suite head. Across the hallway from the master stateroom to starboard is our bunk bed stateroom. This bunk bed stateroom has natural light from above through a deck hatch, ample storage, closet with cedar lining, individual climate controls, and a shared head. This second head is accessed from a door in the companionway, from the bunk bed stateroom, and also from the forward VIP stateroom. The layout of the forward VIP stateroom features a split berth arrangement, climate controls, natural light from a deck hatch above, and a cedar lined closet.
