1973 Merritt 42’ Custom Sportfish JENNY PIE - For Sale with HMY Yachts

JENNY PIE is a classic 1973 MERRITT 42 SPORTFISH with rich fishing history and received a refit from 2012-2014. This custom sportfish was Roy Merritt’s first build of his career in 1973. This boat has spent time in Kona Hawaii where she landed the Pacific Blue Marlin World Record at 1,376 lbs in the early 1980’s. She has also chased Giant Bluefin Tuna off Nantucket, as well countless billfish off south Florida and the Bahamas. In 2014, this vessel was completely refit from the bottom up by the team at Merritt Boat Works. There was not any detail that was not addressed during the two-phase refit project. The engines were replaced and updated with the 450 C Cummins in 2001.
