390 Coastal

2004 Only

Wellcraft 390 Coastal
Flagship of the Wellcraft fleet in 2004, the 390 Coastal is a sturdy express fishing boat whose moderate price included a lengthy list of standard equipment. Anglers will find a lot to like about the 390—the focal point of the boat is her spacious, wide open cockpit with its transom livewell, tackle center with built-in refrigerator, generous rod storage, hefty 30-inch tuna door, and cockpit coaming pads. A hardtop (with spreader lights and rocket launchers) was standard and a backing plate under the cockpit sole makes it easy to mount a full-size fighting chair. Like most express fishermen her size, the Coastal’s entire helm deck lifts on hydraulic rams for access to the engines and generator. Below deck, the Coastal’s well-appointed interior includes a full-service galley with microwave, private forward stateroom, large head with separate stall shower, and a U-shaped settee whose backrest flips up to form a Pullman-style bunk. Additional features include a molded bow pulpit, swim platform, trim tabs, spotlight, fresh and salt water washdowns, and a cockpit shower. Cruise at 25–26 knots with 480hp Volvo diesels (around 30 top).
