Wellcraft 360 Coastal
Part fishing boat and part family cruiser, the 360 Coastal made good on Wellcraft’s claim of versatility and comfort. This is a big 36-footer—her tall freeboard and a wide 13'8" beam add up to a spacious boat both inside and out. While the 360 Coastal offers many cruising amenities below, the cockpit is still the focal center of the boat. This wide-open space provides all the room required for anglers to work without bumping elbows. The two in-deck fish boxes are completely gasketed to reduce noise, and the bait center is on the port side, just behind the bridge deck lounge. On the starboard side is a 38-gallon standup livewell. The entire bridge deck lifts on hydraulic rams for access to the engines. Note the single-level electronic controls. The fiberglass hardtop was standard. Below, the cabin of the 360 Coastal is exceptionally spacious. Cherry woodwork and quality fabrics showcase the interior’s convertible dinette, full-service galley, and queen-sized island berth in the bow. Underway, the Coastal’s Hunt-designed hull delivers steady open-water performance in spite of her wide beam. Volvo 370hp diesels cruise at 25 knots (about 30 knots top).
