Wellcraft 35 Scarab Sport; 35 CCF
Wellcraft’s 35 CCF (called the 35 Scarab Sport in 2001–02) is a high-performance center console whose principal mission in life is speed. Indeed, anglers who want to maximize their onsite fishing time will find a lot to like in the 35 Scarab. With her slender beam and offshore-proven deep-V hull, she’s quick to accelerate and able to maintain speed even in a sjpgf chop. But the Scarab isn’t just built for speed—she’s a fully rigged fishboat with five insulated fish boxes with pumpouts, 37-gallon transom livewell, and transom bait prep station with sink and cutting board. The console head, which includes a VacuFlush toilet with 10-gallon holding tank as well as a sink and shower, features a front entry door that lifts at the push of a button. There’s space for electronics at the well-designed helm, and a drop-down bolster seat with tackle storage, 68-quart cooler, and rod holders were standard. A foldaway bench seat at the transom provides seating for guests. Additional features include Kiekhaefer racing tabs, cockpit bolsters, dual washdowns, anchor locker, and tilt steering. Twin 225hp outboards will deliver a top speed of over 40 knots, and triple 250hp outboards are capable of speeds of 50+ knots.
