Trophy
2503 Center Console
2004–08
Simple and affordable, the Trophy 2503 was the largest boat in the Trophy series of center consoles. Trophy was known for its ability to build a good fishing boat at a low price and the 2503 CC is no exception. The layout is clean and functional with enough usable cockpit space for anglers and their gear. The bow area converts easily from a raised table with bench seating to a large casting platform, and the helm seat module includes four rod holders mounted on the backrest. The transom is set up as a bait prep station with a built-in 30-gallon recirculating livewell, cutting board, and removable storage tub. Considering the low, entry level price, the 2503 came with an impressive list of standard features including hydraulic steering, integral swim platform, padded bow seating, built-in transom seats, stainless steel toe rails, and trim tabs. The folding aft-facing seat abaft the helm seat module is a useful feature as is the cooler storage space under the helm station. The cruising speed with a single 225 HP Mercury Optimax outboard is 28 knots and the top speed of 38–40 knots. Twin 150hp outboards reach a top speed in the mid 40s.
