2690 Walkaround
2001–07
The Triton 2690 Walkaround (called the 2500 Walkaround in 2001–02) was the largest model in the Triton fleet for several years. Built on a solid fiberglass hull with a wide 9-foot beam, the 2690 is a big 26-footer with the cockpit and deck space of many larger boats. Her versatile layout and comfortable below deck accommodations make the 2690 a good choice for families. Topside, the 2690 is all business from the well-equipped helm station to a spacious, uncluttered cockpit that’s loaded with storage. Wide walkways around the cabin make getting around easy on this boat. Standard features include an integrated swim platform, above-deck fish/storage boxes, 35-gallon transom livewell, cockpit bolsters, aft-facing jump seats, raw-water washdown, transom door, tackle storage, removable rear bench seat, transom shower, cockpit lights, trim tabs, anchor locker, gunnel rod holders, cockpit rod storage, and a molded bow pulpit. Below, the 2690’s roomy cabin—with enclosed head/shower, galley with sink and ice box, and convertible dinette forward—sleeps two. Close to 40 knots top with twin 150hp outboards.
