SRV360 Sedan Sportfish
1980–81
Largest model in the Sea Ray fleet back in the early 1980s, the Sea Ray 360 Sedan was marketed as a sport fisherman although it’s doubtful that many anglers would find her small cockpit suitable for any serious fishing pursuits. She rides on a solid fiberglass hull with prop pockets and a very wide 13-foot, 11-inch beam. Below, the two-stateroom interior is arranged with an angled bed in the forward cabin and over/under single bunks in the guest stateroom. The head is fitted with a separate stall shower, and the salon is surprisingly spacious for a 36-footer with a recessed bar, high-low coffee table, convertible sofa, and a serving counter overlooking the galley. (Note that the galley includes a full-size, upright refrigerator/freezer.) As mentioned previously, the cockpit is on the small side and the absence of a transom door is notable. Topside, the flybridge is designed with bench seating forward of the helm. Additional features include side-dumping exhausts, swim platform, bow pulpit, and relatively wide side decks. Twin 330hp gas inboards cruise the 360 Sedan at 17–18 knots and deliver a top speed in the mid 20s. Optional 320hp Cat diesels provide a cruising speed of around 20 knots (23–24 knots top).
