Sea Ray Yachts
290-300 Sundeck
2008–13
The largest model in Sea Ray’s Sundeck series when she was introduced in 2008, the 290 Sundeck (called the 300 Sundeck in 2010–13) was designed for entertaining offering a great mix of seating, storage and features. The bow seating layout features padded seats, backrests, flip-down inner armrests with outer grabrails, and recessed speakers and cupholders. A door closes off the bow area, and behind it are a small cuddy with a berth beneath the driver’s console and an enclosed head with a freshwater sink, shower, light and mirror. Between them is a lockable in-floor locker big enough to handle skis and wakeboards. The helm seat slides, swivels and has a flip-up bolster. The refreshment center includes a freshwater sink, a removable trash bin, and a refrigerator with a gas grill as an option. Filler cushions convert the portside table into a sun pad. Standard features include a stereo/CD with six speakers, extended swim platform, integrated transom seat, Bimini top, transom storage, tilt steering, and a hydraulic engine hatch. A single 375hp gas sterndrive engine reaches a top speed of over 40 knots. Note that a new 290 Sundeck model came out in 2015.
