Scout
300 LXF
2015–19
In the eyes of many anglers, Scouts are among the best-looking boats on the water. Such is the case with the 300 LXF, a family-focused center console with a flared bow and a forward-seating layout. The hardtop is integrated into the console, and a tempered-glass enclosure offers weather protection at the helm. Both helm seats feature drop-down bolsters and armrests. Up front, the bow seat cushions can be removed to form a casting platform with dry storage and in-sole fish boxes below. The console cabin comes complete with a sink, a shower, an electric toilet, and a two-person cushioned berth that converts to a settee. Fishing features include an 18-gallon livewell in the leaning post, two insulated in-deck fish boxes, six gunwale rod holders, and under-gunwale rod storage. A slick digital switching system with a programmable key fob controls power to select electronics. Additional features include a Fusion stereo with 6 speakers, 360-degree bolsters, a forward cooler seat, transom door, and port and starboard teak swim platforms. Twin Yamaha F300 outboards power the 300 LXF to a top speed of 50 knots.
