255 LXF
2015–Current
An outstanding blend of comfort and fishability, the 255 LXF is one of the best family fishing boats in its class. In a review of this boat by Saltwater Sportsman magazine, writer Randy Vance wrote “...the 255 LXF takes the luxury approach to fishing by packaging a high-volume livewell, premium quality rod holders and outriggers between luxury seating and opulent style, all traveling on a wave-slicing platform with Carolina flare and a safe, comfortable ride.” Building on that apt description, the 255 LXF also showcases Scout’s patented T-top/hardtop with tempered glass enclosure. The deluxe fiberglass leaning post offers companion seats that fold into bolsters, and nearby is a 128-quart cooler and four flush-mount rod holders. Beneath the forward seating are fish boxes/storage that complement an in-floor fish box. Additional standard features on the 255 include a transom door, raw water wash down, ample rod storage throughout the boat, a fold-down stern seat, port and starboard swim platforms, and a portside aerated, recirculating bait well. A quality boat with a price to match, twin Yamaha 150s deliver a top speed north of 45 knots.
