Sailfish

2660-270 Center Console

2002–21

Sailfish 2660-270 Center Console
One of the most popular models in the Sailfish fleet, the 270 Center Console is an updated version of the Sailfish 266/2660 Center Console produced in 2002–12. Both ride on the same solid fiberglass hull with a moderate 9-foot beam and relatively high freeboard. The deck layout in both models is nearly identical with molded bow seating with storage under, forward in-floor storage, console head with sink and shower, and removable rear jump seats. The 270’s helm differs from that of her predecessor, and where the livewell and tackle center of the 2660 were integrated into the leaning post, in the 270 the livewell is located at the transom. The console has dash space for a large video display, and the helm seat footrest offers additional storage under the lid. Cockpit bolsters, transom rod holders, and a foldaway stern seat are standard. The deep cockpit of the Sailfish provides an extra level of security for a boat this size. At 6,700 pounds rigged, the 270 is a relatively light boat for her size which allows her to perform well (and also keep the cost down) with twin 150hp engines—about 40 knots wide open depending on the load.
