R302 Center Console

Replacing the R300 as Robalo’s flagship center console in 2017, the R302 is a value-priced fishing boat whose combination of performance, features and quality are a match for boats costing considerably more. Using the same Kevlar-reinforced hull as her predecessor, molded backrests in the bow area of the R302 allow passengers to face forward and a removable bow table can be used to create a bow casting platform. The anchor locker conceals an electric windlass and a freshwater washdown to rinse the anchor. Recessed bow rails run aft to the helm area and padded bolsters wrap all around the interior. The forward-entry head compartment includes a marine toilet, sink and storage. At the helm, a two-man leaning post module has fold-down armrests and flip-up bolsters. Cockpit features include a 25-gallon livewell with LED lighting in the aft port corner, two 50-gallon in-floor fish boxes, foldaway transom seat, tackle and drawer storage, removable cooler, cockpit table, stainless steel toe rails, fresh and raw water washdowns, and a transom door. Unlike most center consoles, the steering wheel is to starboard. Twin Yamaha F300 outboards top out at 46–48 knots.
