R272 Center Console
2019–Current
Designed for fishing and entertaining, the R272 is a solid, well-built center console from a builder that gets things right. Like many of today’s high-end center consoles, the R272’s hardtop and windshield are integrated into the helm console. The doublewide helm seat includes flip-up bolsters, and a removable table converts the U-shaped bow seats into a casting platform. Fishing features include a 30-gallon transom livewell, a 100 gallon in-deck fishbox, twin 25-gallon fishboxes forward, raw water washdowns, six gunnel-mounted rod holders, and stainless-steel toe rails. The seat behind the helm flips up to reveal a second 20-gallon livewell. A fiberglass hardtop comes with LED lights and four rod holders with outriggers among the options. Note the power vent window in the windshield. The front console seat swings open for access to the small head compartment. In the cockpit, a foldaway transom bench seat, an aft-facing seat, and a portside dive door are standard. Built on Robolo’s signature Kevlar-reinforced hull, twin F200 Yamahas provide a 28-knot cruising speed and a top speed of 40-plus knots.
