2640 Walkaround

A well-built walkaround for anglers or families who don’t fit the open-fishboat profile any more, the Robalo 2640 combines the advantages of a roomy, uncluttered cockpit with the overnight comforts of an efficient cuddy cabin. Robalo builds a solid boat—their 10-year limited hull warranty speaks for itself—and the cored stringer system and full inner liner of the 2640 only adds to her strength. (Note that her 8-foot, 11-inch beam is wider by 5 inches than the legal limit for trailering.) The Robalo’s uncluttered cockpit is fitted with two in-deck fish boxes, aft-facing jump seats, transom shower, a circular livewell and a removable bench seat at the transom. Additional fishing features include cockpit bolsters, under-gunwale rod storage, tackle storage, and fresh and raw water washdowns. Note the stylish wraparound windshield. Below, the cabin will sleep two with a dinette/V-berth forward, mini-galley, and an enclosed head with shower. Twin 200hp outboards cruise the Robalo 2640 Walkaround at 27 knots and reach a top speed of 42–43 knots.
