Robalo

2520 Center Console

1981–96

One of Robalo’s best-selling models, the 2520 Center Console remained in production for some 15 years—a testament to her enduring popularity with budget-minded anglers across the country. Heavily built on a foam-filled deep-V hull, the deck layout of the 2520 provides a raised casting platform forward, wide walkways around the helm console, and a large, uncluttered cockpit aft. Forward of the console, the bench seat doubles as a cooler and a tackle center is concealed behind the fold-down backrest. There are three insulated fish boxes under the casting platform, and an oval 30-gallon livewell is immediately forward of the drop-down splashwell at the transom. Dry storage is excellent—a big locker, located inside the console, provides plenty of room for life jackets, nets, and assorted gear. A factory T-top, freshwater shower, cockpit bolsters, leaning post and raw water washdown were standard in later models. A fast ride with twin 200hp outboards, the Robalo 2520 Center Console will cruise easily at 30 knots and reach a top speed of around 42–43 knots.
