53 Sport Coupe

A restyled version of the Regal 52 Sport Coupe (2008–13), the Regal 53 SC retains the sleek lines and quality construction of her predecessor while introducing several design and layout updates. Starboard entrance stairs lead to a spacious aft deck seating and entertaining area equipped with wet bar, electric barbecue, icemaker and electrically operated sunshade that extends to shelter the seating area. In the upper salon, a retractable 50" flat-screen TV is housed in a cherrywood cabinet across from a U-shaped dinette/settee. A power sunroof is standard. Glass doors and a sliding glass partition fully protect the helm deck from the elements. Aft of the galley on the lower level is a full-beam master with aft-facing queen bed, settee, and separate head and shower compartments. The forward stateroom can be fitted with a queen berth or a double berth and a bunk. A third stateroom with twin bunks is optional. Access to the engine room of the Regal 53 is extraordinary—the entire aft end of the cockpit opens on big hydraulic rams to provide unrestricted access to the compartment. Cummins 550hp 6.7L diesels with Zeus pod drives cruise at 24–26 knots (30 knots top).
