33 OBX
2018–22
The Regal 33 OBX is the outboard version of the company’s sterndrive-powered 3300 bowrider. With her spirited outboard performance, the OBX caters to boaters and families whose interests are coastal cruising while still having the ability to participate in skiing, diving, or wakeboarding. The open seating plan of the 33 OBX is similar to most big bowriders with comfortable bow lounges, double-wide helm and companion seats, and L-shaped seating in the cockpit. A refreshment center abaft the helm seat features a refrigerator, sink, grill and an optional TV. Instead of a pair of V-8 engines under the deck, the OBX has a massive storage lazarette for stowing a ton of gear. The head compartment is finished with black cherry cabinetry, and a queen bed is tucked under the cockpit. Overhead, a retractable sun shade built into the hardtop extends out over the cockpit. The backrest of the transom lounge can be adjusted to several positions. Outboard power allows the 33 OBX to easily explore shallow-water bays normally off-limits to sterndrive boats. A quality boat from a company that gets things right, twin Yamaha F300 engines cruise economically at 30 knots.
