S 288 Sport

A premium day boat with serious eye appeal, the S 288 Sport is a highly versatile center console designed to serve the needs of fishermen and families alike. For cruising and entertaining, the S 288 has convertible lounges forward and folding forward- and aft-facing seats in the cockpit. A hullside dive door to port makes boarding easy, and the console head compartment comes complete with an electric toilet, storage and a hand-held shower. A cavernous stowage compartment is built into the deck forward of the console seat. At the bow, the anchor locker is equipped with raw-water washdown and windlass. The S 288’s sturdy wraparound windshield is fully integrated into the oversize fiberglass hardtop. Fishing features include a 24-gallon livewell in the transom, 45-gallon in-deck fishboxes, four flush-mount rod holders in the gunwales, four more holders lining the transom, and six rocket launchers lining the hard top. Additional features include an aft-tilting helm, fold-down bolster seats, cockpit coaming pads, transom gate, raw-water washdown and a freshwater cockpit shower. Powered with twin Yamaha F300 outboards, the 288 Sport can achieve a top speed of 45–46 knots.
