The perfect day boat? The Pursuit S 280 joins the growing ranks of modern center consoles designed as much for cruising and entertaining as she is for fishing. Loaded with creature comforts like an extended fiberglass hardtop with powder-coated stanchions, console head compartment with freshwater sink, premium sound system, and rich teak accents, the S 280 also boasts a raft of fishing amenities anglers will appreciate. A casting insert fits between the three forward seats—with a pair of fitted cushions, it converts to a sun pad. There's also an anchor winch under the foredeck that deploys a plow anchor just below the stemhead. A bait prep station with sink, dual helm seat with flip-up bolsters, Lenco trim tabs, raw-water washdown, cockpit bolsters, slide-out aft tackle center, cockpit rod storage, and twin in-deck fish boxes are standard. Note the slide-out refrigerator under the leaning post. Options include an anchor windlass, 45-gallon transom livewell, power steering and marine head. The gunnel-mounted hardtop will be a deal-breaker for serious anglers. No lightweight, the Pursuit S 280 tops out at 45+ knots with Yamaha F250 outboards.
