2870 Offshore Center Console

1996–2002

Pursuit Yachts 2870 Offshore Center Console
A crossover design with the cockpit of a center console and the cabin layout of a traditional walkaround, the innovative Pursuit 2870 Offshore Center Console is part hardcore fishing boat and part family cruiser. Like all modern Pursuit boats, the 2870 is a handsome boat whose styling has easily stood the test of time. She’s heavily built on a deep-V hull with a wide 9'6" beam and a solid fiberglass bottom. Standard features include an integral bow pulpit, anchor locker, fresh and raw water washdowns, leaning post with backrest, 26-gallon livewell, console seat with cooler, cockpit bolsters, walk-in console with marine head, cockpit rod storage, insulated fish boxes (under seats), forward jump seats, aft-facing jump seat, transom fish box, transom bait prep station with sink, and recessed trim tabs. A large in-deck compartment aft of console houses batteries, oil reservoirs, etc. Below, the well-finished cabin—with removable teak table, rod storage racks, and galley with sink and fridge—sleeps two. Twin 225hp Yamahas reach a top speed of 40+ knots. Note that the Pursuit 2800 Offshore Center Console (1996–98) is the same boat with sterndrive power.
