2670 Denali; LS 265
2003–07
More pleasure boat than hardcore fisherman, the Pursuit 2670 (called the LS 265 Denali in 2007) will appeal to experienced boaters who have an eye for quality and long-term value. Unlike conventional express cruisers with their glitzy styling, cluttered cockpits, and overstuffed interiors, the Denali offers beaujpgul styling, a spacious, wide-open cockpit, and a simple interior with V-berths and a concealed head. This is an ideal boat for day boaters who enjoy fishing, swimming, and cruising with friends and family. Her deep-V hull can run any inlet with confidence, and the Denali’s meticulous finish is as good as it gets in a small production boat. The centerpiece of the 2670 is the aft-facing bench seat in the center of the cockpit, which pulls out and converts into a full-length sun pad. The centerline helm position—unusual in any boat—is notable for its exceptional visibility and intelligent dash layout. For anglers, a 12-gallon livewell, in-sole fish box with pumpout, tackle lockers, cockpit sink, and cabin rod storage are all standard. Expect a top speed of 45 knots with a pair of Yamaha 225 outboards. Note that the 2665 Denali is the same boat with sterndrive power.
