2655 Center Console
1992–96
A well-built fisherman with a deep cockpit and full transom, the Pursuit 2655 Center Console (called the Pursuit 2650 in 1992) is a dedicated fishing machine whose blend of quality construction, first-rate components, and superior open-water performance made her a popular boat during the early 1990s. Like most Pursuits, she rides on a deep-V hull with a wide beam, sharp entry, and reverse outer chines to keep the spray down. The deck layout—big enough for a party of four anglers and their gear—includes a full rigging station at the transom with a circulating livewell, sink, and bait storage compartment. The helm console is big enough for flush-mounting extra electronics, and the leaning post doubles as a tackle center. Forward of the helm is a seat with a cushioned backrest and built-in cooler. Note that a standup head compartment is located within the console. Additional features include a molded bow pulpit, raw-water washdown, and plenty of rod storage. With 234 gallons of fuel, the 2655 can range further offshore than most boats her size. Available with outboard brackets only, twin 150hp Yamahas will reach a top speed of 35 knots, and twin 200hp Yamahas will hit 40+ knots top.
