Pro-Line
3000 Super Sport Cuddy
1998–2000
Introduced in 1999, the Pro-Line 3000 Super Sport Cuddy is a high-performance fishing machine for anglers in a hurry. The market for narrow-beam go-fast fishing boats has never been huge, so it’s no surprise that production lasted just two years before being retired from the Pro-Line fleet in 2001. Built on a Donzi-inspired deep-V hull with a trailerable 8'6" beam, the 3000’s narrow beam results in a small cockpit compared with most 30-footers. Note that the foredeck cabintop lacks nonskid and becomes slippery when wet. Standard features include an integral bow pulpit with roller, pop-up cleats, trim tabs, built-in tackle box, cockpit bolsters, transom door, low-profile bow rail, raw-water washdown, gunnel rod holders (4), rod storage racks, drink holders, leaning post with livewell and backrest, insulated fish boxes, walk-in console with portable head, dive ladder, front console seat, in-deck bow storage, cockpit lights, and trim tabs. Most were sold with a factory hardtop. The 3000’s tiny cuddy cabin with sitting headroom and portable head storage sleeps two. A fast ride—well over 50 knots top with 225hp Mercs.
