Pro-Line 30-31 Sport
The Pro-Line 30 Sport (called the 31 Sport in 2005–6) was among the bigger center consoles of her day when she came out back in 2000. Heavily built on a solid fiberglass hull, the wide 10'10" beam of the 30 Sport results in one of the larger cockpits in her class. Unlike many late-model center consoles, there is no forward seating or raised casting deck in the Pro-Line 30. Instead, the bow area is flush, although there is a step down on the way back to the cockpit—a likely trip hazard for the unsuspecting. High gunnels make for a deep cockpit, and the head compartment in the oversized console comes with a sleeping berth—fish all day and catch a night’s sleep below. Standard features include an integrated swim platform, bow pulpit, pop-up cleats, transom door, lockable electronics storage, recessed trim tabs, in-deck fish boxes (forward), 45-gallon transom livewell, in-deck storage lockers (aft), rear bench seat, pop-up cleats, bait prep center with sink, cockpit rod storage, swim ladder, cockpit bolsters, leaning post with backrest, raw-water washdown, and forward console seat. A big 30-footer, twin 250hp Mercury Verados top out at 40 knots.
