Pro-Line 29 Grand Sport
The Pro-Line Grand Sport is a big 29-footer with unusually high freeboard and a deep—seriously deep—cockpit. So deep, in fact, that Pro-Line engineers had to mount the console on a raised platform so drivers can see over the bow. Everything about the 29 Grand Sport seems big—tons of storage, cavernous head compartment, and a seemingly oversize console that looks like it belongs on a larger boat. Setting aside her ungainly appearance, the Grand Sport is a very roomy boat with plenty of fishing space in both the cockpit and bow area. Standard features include an integrated swim platform, transom door, bow seating with storage under, pop-up cleats, bait prep station with sink and 50-gallon livewell, recessed bow rails, in-deck storage locker (forward), rod holders (8), drink holders, two big in-deck fish boxes, foldaway rear seat, fresh and raw water washdowns, cockpit bolsters, rod storage racks, and bow cushions. Most were sold with an optional factory hardtop. A heavily built boat, the 29 Grand Sport tops out between 40–45 knots with twin 250hp Mercury Verado outboards.
