The Pro-Line 27 Sport (called the 29 Sport in 2005–06) began life back in 1993 when she was introduced as the 2700 Sportsman, a full-transom center console with bracket-mounted outboards. So popular was this boat that when Pro-Line decided to replace her in 2000, they completely updated the old Sportsman, adding a new integrated transom and redesigning the helm console. Built on a solid fiberglass hull with a wide 9'10"" beam, the 27/29 Sport is a well-proportioned boat with a functional deck layout similar to most popular center consoles in this class. Standard features include an integral bow pulpit with roller, integrated swim/dive platform with ladder, 35-gallon livewell, U-shaped bow seating with storage under, in-deck fish boxes (2), transom door, tackle storage, full-height bow rails, pop-up cleats, leaning post with rod holders and cooler, raw-water washdown, front console cooler seat, walk-in console with portable head, cockpit bolsters, gunnel rod holders, cockpit rod storage, cockpit shower, rear bench seat, trim tabs, and bow cushions. About 40 knots top with twin 225s.
