Pro-Line
2610 Walkaround; 27 Walk
1998–2004
The Pro-Line 2610 (called the 27 Walk beginning in 2000 when an integrated transom became standard) is a popular wide-beam walkaround with a large fishing cockpit and a cabin big enough for comfortable cruising. The 2610 stands out because of her broad 9'6" beam—the vast majority of 26-footers are designed to be trailerable which limits their beam to 8 feet, 6 inches. Available with sterndrive or outboard power, the 65-square-foot cockpit of the Pro-Line 2610 carries a full load of fishing features including two in-deck fish boxes, removable, transom bait station with 35-gallon livewell, built-in tackle drawers, and a walk-thru transom door. Below, the cabin accommodations include a fully equipped galley with stove and refrigerator, dinette that converts to a comfortable double berth, and an enclosed head compartment with a standup shower. A tall windshield provides good wind and spray protection at the helm, and wide side decks make getting around easy and safe. A factory hardtop was a popular option. Twin 225 Yamaha outboards deliver a top speed of about 40 knot, and a single 310hp Volvo I/O will top out in the mid 30s.
