Pro-Line 26 Sport
The Pro-Line 26 Sport is a full-featured trailerable center console whose clean lines and functional deck plan will appeal to anglers looking for a capable offshore fishing boat at a moderate price. No longer in business, Pro-Line prospered in later years by giving customers dependable and well-finished boats that compared well with more expensive offerings from their upmarket competitors. Built on a deep-V hull with cored hullsides and a solid fiberglass bottom, the cockpit of the 26 Sport is arranged with a pair of in-deck 45-gallon fish boxes, a leaning post with a built-in baitwell, an aft bench seat, freshwater sink, tackle storage and a transom door. There’s plenty of storage forward, under the casting deck, and a head/storage compartment is enclosed within the large console. Additional features include a bow pulpit, anchor locker, trim tabs, under-gunwale rod racks, console seat, coaming bolsters and rod holders. Considered a lot of boat for the money, a single 225hp Mercury outboard delivers a top speed of just over 30 knots, and twin 150s max out at over 40 knots.
