Pro-Line

24-25 Sport

1995–2007

An updated version of popular Pro-Line 240 Sportsman (1995–2001), a redesigned console and an enlarged cockpit made a good boat even better. A bold-on outboard bracket distinguishes the 25 Sport from most center consoles in her class, a feature that results in a fairly spacious cockpit. The Sport includes all the standard fishing features expected in a fishing boat of this type including a leaning post with livewell module, tackle storage, three fish boxes, rod storage under each gunwale, and two rod holders in each gunwale. The bow platform holds two huge storage compartments for a variety of gear. Across the transom, a padded foldaway bench seat conceals a 30-gallon fishbox. On the downside, the walkways outboard of the console are somewhat narrow. The console houses a Porta-Potti or an optional marine toilet with pumpout. The cockpit toe rails are a plus. Pro-Line went to wood-free construction beginning in 1995 so those shopping for a 24-25 Sport can put that concern behind them. A relatively light boat for her size, most were rigged with a single 225hp or 250hp engine for a top speed in the 40-knot range.
