EDITOR’S NOTES: Popular double-cabin import (built by CHB in Taiwan) combines timeless trawler profile with traditional teak interior, economical operation. Several floorplans were available, all with full-beam aft cabin, port/starboard salon deck doors, parquet flooring, lower helm with deck door. Surprisingly roomy aft deck. Flybridge seats four. Bow pulpit, swim platform, radar arch were standard. Keel protects running gear. Also marketed as the Ponderosa 35. Cruise at 7 knots with single 135hp diesel; 8–10 knots with twin 85hp diesels.
