EDITOR’S NOTES: Fuel-miserly diesel cruiser with very wide beam, surprisingly roomy cabin lived up to promise of small-boat comfort, quality, economy. Well-finished interior with deckhouse galley, big cabin windows includes small dinette, convertible salon settee, hanging locker, V-berths forward. Lower helm station was optional. Cockpit is small but usable. Flybridge seats four. Long keel protects running gear, assures straight tracking in following seas. Single 50hp or 85hp Perkins diesels will cruise at 6-7 knots burning just 2 gph.
