Performer
32
1991–2002
The Performer 32 is still recognized today for her distinctive low-profile appearance and strictly-business cockpit layout. She’s built on a deep-V hull using some of the most advanced construction techniques in the business. The beam is narrow and prop pockets are used to reduce the shaft angle for better speed and efficiency. The result is a rugged and seaworthy fishing platform that can haul ass. With J&T 300hp 8.2s, she’ll cruise at an honest 30 knots and reach 36–37 knots top with a tower. The compact bi-level cockpit can handle a marlin chair and comes with an in-deck fish box. The helm is superbly arranged with a full array of instruments set into a shaded dash and a comfortable bolster-type helm seat. The interior accommodations are fairly basic and the fiberglass surfaces, brushed aluminum trim, and snap-out carpeting make clean-up easy. A good-looking boat that lives up to her name, the Performer 32 will appeal primarily to experienced anglers who have been around the block a few times.
